What is local pickup?
Fresh Film is located in Edmonton, AB. When you place an order, you have the option to either have it shipped to you for a flat fee (anywhere in Canada) or pickup from our base of operations for free. We are located on the Northside of the city, close Northgate. The exact pickup instructions will be provided via email.
How is your film stored?
Film is sensitive to temperature and humidity, which can affect its performance and quality. When film is exposed to high temperatures or humidity, it can cause the film emulsion to break down, resulting in a loss of image quality, colour shifts, and increased graininess. Freezing film can slow down this process, preserving the film’s quality and ensuring that it performs as intended. To ensure that our film remains as crisp as possible, we immediately place it into our freezer – after all, Fresh is in our name.
